Linux certification, which path do I choose?
by roffeboffe from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5BNP2)
Hi
I've been using and managing linux systems since 1993, but have little formal training. I achieved LPIC-1 two years ago, and thats it.
Now my boss wants me to get certified at a higher level than LPIC-1. I do not want to specialize in one distro/flavor, so distro-specific certs are not interesting.
1. Do I continue at LPIC and start studying for LPIC-2 and -3? or
2. Linux Foundation LFCA, LFCS and LFCE?
3. Any other path I do not know about?
Which of these are best and most valuable? And where do I get the best training online?
