SSD + Timeshift
by JeremyBoden from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5BPSP)
I'm thinking of replacing a couple of HDD's with SSD's.
Is it a good idea to continue to run Timeshift?
AFAIK This Timeshift is writing lots (thousands) of hardlinks every hour (and deleting old hardlinks periodically).
Presumably SSD's don't like this - even if most of the writes are confined to inodes?
