Intel active mgm. tech.

I have been given an HP Pro 3500 microtower and have run up against Intel active MGM. tech. when trying to mount linux to the HD. What workarounds are there either software or hardware. Can I mount linux to the HD and return it to the 3500 or any other suggestions before I start experimenting. DR. Frankenware
