Each week, we highlight the best NFL betting trends and angles to consider as you prepare for the weekend's action. Here are some notable trends ahead of Week 15.

Patriots at Dolphins (-2, 41.5), 1 p.m. ET

No team has been a better bet this year than the Miami Dolphins, who are an NFL-best 10-3 against the spread with an 8-1 ATS record since Week 5. They're also riding a 19-6 ATS run since Week 6 of last season - which includes a 10-2 ATS record at home - while the New England Patriots are 2-5 ATS in their last seven in Miami.

Trend play: Dolphins -2

Buccaneers (-5.5, 50) at Falcons, 1 p.m.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have had their fair shares of duds this year, but they rarely shrink against inferior competition. Tampa Bay is 3-1-1 ATS this year against teams with a losing record and 5-1-1 ATS in its last seven games as a favorite of at least 5.5 points. On the other side, the Atlanta Falcons are 1-4 ATS this year against teams with winning records and 1-4-1 ATS in their last six as home underdogs.

Trend play: Buccaneers -5.5

Seahawks (-5, 44.5) at Washington, 1 p.m.

If Alex Smith suits up in this one, it's hard to bet against the Washington Football Team, which has gone 6-1-1 ATS since Week 6 and won its last four games by a combined 50 points. Washington is also 4-0-1 ATS as an underdog during that stretch, while the Seattle Seahawks have gone 0-2-1 ATS in their last three as road chalk.

Trend play: Washington +5

Jets at Rams (-17.5, 44), 4:05 p.m.

How high does this line have to be to bet the New York Jets? That's the question facing bettors and oddsmakers this week, and history suggests it's already high enough. Teams catching more than 17 points are 15-6 ATS since 1991, including 9-0 ATS in Week 11 or later.

Trend play: Jets +17.5
