How to maximize by dragging to the edge?

Hi LQ,
I use the Gnome 2 MATE Desktop. When I drag a window to the left and right edge of the screen, the window maximizes to the left or right half(or quarter, if dragged to the corner).
I used this feature all the time. But now that I have dual monitor, this feature doesn't work. When I drag to the edge, the window goes to the monitor that right next to the edge.
How, can I edge maximize on a multi-monitor on GNOME 2 Mate Desktop?
