I spent way too much time trying to get this to work.
Instead of using the QEMU preset you have to use the generic x86_64 UEFI preset (known as tablet" in pmbootstrap). It also has to be on a SATA disk controller. It does work with Phosh and Plasma Mobile (those are the only ones I tested)
