[SOLVED] gnome keyring login
by mtdew3q from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5BX5V)
HI all-
what is the purpose of the logins folder for gnome keyring. I don't use it to manage any app passwords to the best of my knowledge. It is not unlocked at login however it appears to have gotten locked.
How does an app actually store a password in the login folder in seahorse?
Do I have to explicitly tell it to store the password for the application ?
Am I okay to restore and recreate it (login folder) ?
I will not touch the other ssh keys, regular keys, and certificates in seahorse.
I am learning encryption with ssh and kgpg. They are really cool.
thanks for any tips,
robo-loki
