After investigating the Christmas tree that was hanging from the ceiling, a particularly limber cat climbed up onto a bookshelf and then took a flying leap right into the middle of the decorative evergreen. The cat's silly humans had previously thought that a suspended tree would keep nosy felines away.

We decided to hang the Christmas tree from the roof so the cats couldn't destroy it. It didn't work.
