Megasync Client Suddenly Stopped Working on Fedora 33
by PasBern from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5C70Z)
Hi all,
the local sync client for MEGA cloud storage is suddenly not working anymore on my Fedora 33 system.
The issue happens with the repository package (megasync-4.3.8-1.1.x86_64) as well with the manually installed RPM-package.
The icon doesn't appear in the system tray (using XFCE) nor is there any process running. When I invoke megasync via the command line, I receive the following error message:
Code:$ megasync
Segmentation fault (core dumped)I know too little about debugging to proceed further
Do you have an idea how I can trace down the root of the issue?
My post on the Fedora forum still hasn't received any answer
Found this post here on the forum, it didn't help either.
Many thanks in advance
