Kyler Murray insists he'll be on the field for the Arizona Cardinals' must-win game against the Los Angeles Rams.

The quarterback was in jeopardy of missing the contest after suffering a lower leg injury in Week 16. However, Murray brushed off the possibility of sitting out the season finale, which comes with heavy playoff implications.

"There's no holding back. If we lose, I'll be home chillin'," Murray said, adding that his leg feels fine, according to team reporter Kyle Odegard.

Murray continued, "You want to tweet out that I'm going to play? Yeah, I'll be playing."

The Cardinals, along with the Rams and Chicago Bears, are all fighting for the NFC's final two wild-card spots. Arizona will book a playoff appearance with a victory but risks missing out with a loss. If the Bears defeat the Green Bay Packers, a defeat would eliminate the Cardinals.

Murray participated in the portion of practice visible to the media, another encouraging sign for his status.

Arizona will be up against an understrength Rams team missing its starting quarterback and top wide receiver. John Wolford is set to start for L.A. with Jared Goff out, while Cooper Kupp will be sidelined after landing on the COVID-19 list.

Murray has thrown for 3,884 yards and 26 touchdowns against 12 interceptions. He's also added 816 yards and 11 scores on the ground.
