Screenshot to DTP in least clicks?

On Mac I use cmd+shift+4, select and area, screenshot and then immediately drag that into the PAGES app. I can also copy and paste the shot into an app very quickly.

On linux I need to save the file first, browse etc. It's so slow that I can't use it for live presentations.

There are plenty of screenshot tools:

And plenty of DTP or WYSIWYG editors:

But which of the myriad combinations is fastest?latest?d=yIl2AUoC8zA latest?i=gvxblP-oHuM:KLkslhccn68:F7zBnMy latest?i=gvxblP-oHuM:KLkslhccn68:V_sGLiP latest?d=qj6IDK7rITs latest?i=gvxblP-oHuM:KLkslhccn68:gIN9vFwgvxblP-oHuM
