I'm bokiball, a (pro?) gamer, and I'm using exclusively linux to play all available games on pc (and I play a lot of consoles too, but it's out of the subject here)
When there was still the old good open pages to build a custom open suse Project easily, i've made a custom distro with custom wallpapers in grub, starting from an usb, and launching automatically street fighter III, for example, and I'm always looking for these kind of stuff that can launch extremely fast, and can be portable. I also like to find way to play modern (fighting) games on linux.
In a perfect World, immagine launching Dead or Alive 5 from a thumb drive in a checkpointed linux! That would be awesome, and the capabilities infinite! Why checkpointed? Because loading times in a portable system can be really long...
