Report: Chiefs strength coach tests positive for COVID-19
Kansas City Chiefs strength and conditioning coach Barry Rubin tested positive for COVID-19, NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports, citing sources.
The Chiefs, who own a bye in the first round of the NFL playoffs, have been away from the team facility for two days and aren't expected back until Thursday, Pelissero adds.
Back in November, the Baltimore Ravens disciplined their strength and conditioning coach for failing to report his symptoms or consistently wear a mask or contact tracer. The Ravens then dealt with a lengthy COVID-19 outbreak that resulted in the postponement of games.
The Chiefs won't play again until the divisional round. They own home-field advantage throughout the AFC playoffs.
