Police say a sudden death" in the area of Eastport Drive and Pier 26 is not suspicious.
A postmortem has been conducted and there is no reason to believe the death was suspicious," Const. Jerome Stewart said in an email to The Spectator on Wednesday.
A member of a communications construction crew told The Spectator on Monday that he found the body in the bay near stacks of salt.
Police tweeted Monday afternoon that Eastport Drive from the Pier 26 Gateway to the QEW ramp was closed for the investigation.
