warnings and errors
by crajor from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5CG9F)
I looked at logs for warnings and errors in the /var/log/kernel folder for the first time, which has now led to some questions.
1) Are errors and warnings 'removable'? IS it possible to work through them?
2) does the kernel have these errors and warnings for most/all PC systems?
3) does understanding these errors and warnings require a computer science degree to understand?
Please understand that I am not being facetious, these are legitimate questions - I would like to explore improving my kernel to improve boot time, but looking at these logs leaves me exasperated. The simple truth is I do not understand what I am looking at.
