Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow believes he'll be back under center for Week 1 of the 2021 season.

Burrow's rookie campaign came to an end when he suffered a torn ACL and MCL along with other structural damage in his left knee during a Week 11 game against the Washington Football Team.

"I think I'll be ready. I think it'll be just fine," Burrow said Thursday on "The Herd."

The 2020 No. 1 overall pick averaged 268 yards per game with 13 touchdowns to just five interceptions in his rookie campaign.

There were some concerns Burrow wouldn't be available for the start of the 2021 season, but the young passer offered more optimism on his recovery.

"(The injury) was devastating for me but rehab has gone really well. I'm past the worst part. I'm starting to feel like a normal human again," Burrow said.

"Things are on track to start the season the way I need to, practice a little bit in camp and get ready to go," he added.

The Bengals finished the season with a 4-11-1 record and are due to pick fifth in the upcoming NFL draft.
