Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans is active for Saturday's game against the Washington Football Team despite dealing with a knee injury.

Evans, who suffered the injury in Week 17, was listed as questionable for the contest, and head coach Bruce Arians said his playing status would be a game-time decision. The wideout didn't practice Tuesday and Wednesday, but he participated in a limited capacity Thursday.

His insertion into the starting lineup ensures Tom Brady will have his favorite red-zone target. Evans leads the Buccaneers with 13 receiving touchdowns this season.

The 27-year-old is also coming off a record-breaking season, becoming the first player to record seven straight 1,000-yard seasons to begin a career.

The Bucs will be up against a Washington defense that ranks second against the pass while also allowing the fourth-fewest points per game.
