Can't boot laptop: /bin/sh: warning: shell level too high, resetting to 1

Code:/bin/sh: warning: shell level (1000) too high, resetting to 1It repeats it over and over again and I can't boot into my laptop.

I'm running -current but I haven't had time to update in about a month or two.
The last thing I edited was the /etc.rc.d/RC.local script to start the tor Daemon if it was present, according to the slackbuild's readme

How can I solve this and get back into my laptop? I'm using the LILO bootloader if that's of any consideration.latest?d=yIl2AUoC8zA latest?i=Q9hRVwUL_qM:dPY0CyD8L0o:F7zBnMy latest?i=Q9hRVwUL_qM:dPY0CyD8L0o:V_sGLiP latest?d=qj6IDK7rITs latest?i=Q9hRVwUL_qM:dPY0CyD8L0o:gIN9vFwQ9hRVwUL_qM
