Linux Mint with HP touchscreen monitor

Good evening y'all. I have an HP laptop with touchscreen monitor and have installed Linux Mint Cinnamon on it. Loving Cinnamon! I've noticed that I can touch tabs on Firefox to switch tabs, and also move the scrollbar on the right side of the screen. But, I can't put my finger on the middle of a page to get it to scroll up or down. Am I being a little too picky? Is there a different driver to make it behave like I was used to? Or a setting? Thanks!
