Installing linux - What partition should i put on the ssd

Im not a newbie, but this is a new situation to me.
First time installing linux on a machine with an ssd (yes, been away from linux for a while).
The machine im installing on with have no os but slackware on it and has a 125 gig ssd and a 1 terabyte sata drive.
Im thinking of linking /usr/games to a directory on the ssd and using the hdd for pretty much everything else.
What do you all think?
