A wonderful event showcasing the beauty of nature was captured by photographer Marco Valk, who filmed the stunningly graceful movements of a starling murmuration as the birds collectively flew in sequence with one another above Geldermalsen in The Netherlands.
It's one of the great wonders of the natural world and I felt honored to be in the right place at the right time to document it.
