[SOLVED] Which Linux certification is a good starting point
by Gad from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5CYEX)
Hi everybody,
I hold various certifications with CompTIA, Microsoft and Cisco and would like to look into getting some Linux education. I would preferably like to start at the bottom and work my way up. Ive been using Linux for some time but just as a hobbyist at home and dabbled in some server work on the job but nothing too serious. Just basic web proxy, Samba shares, BIND and other bits and bobs. I have searched the internet and found CompTIA Linux+ and LPIC exams. I would just like to find out which is considered more reputable or "recognized" or if there are any other better options I may have missed. I don't necessarily want to specialize in anything just yet such as RHCE as an example. Just something to assist in getting the ball rolling.
Thank you for your time,
Regards
