Another way to test and choose a distro

I hate setting up and using VirtualBox.
Now I use a largish SDXC card and put an EFI partition and an ext4 partition on it. Then I make a boot stick of a chosen distro, boot the system, and install that distro to the SD card.
Now just reboot with that card and have a fully operational distro - maybe a tad slower -and go to town testing it
When you find the one that works best on your machine, do a proper full install cuz you already know it works.
