e.g. I press ctrl+alt+t to launch terminal and its launching fine but I need to use my mouse to click on the title bar in order to start typing, I recorded a short video to demonstrate https://www.dropbox.com/s/pigqvkr9ng...issue.mp4?dl=0

I'm guessing this is a setting controlled by my desktop environment, (am using Linux Mint xfce) but I cannot find the setting. Maybe I changed a setting when I was setting up this new machine, but I have no idea what it is, have spent ages looking.

This is definitely user error!
