Expand /tmp

Hello,
I have a server running Ubuntu 14.04.5 LTS. The /tmp is on a on a separate 2TB drive and is showing 94% full. Users are complaining they don't have enough space. They have a request to increase the space but I'm not really sure how to do this or even if it's possible based on the setup. I've done a Google search and seen processes where people increase /tmp but I'm not sure if this is along the same lines or not. I've attached a picture showing the disk layout and usage. Any help in clarifying how this works would be greatly appreciated.
