Troubles with a Macromedia Director based edutainment

Hi

I've got a Debian 10 x64 laptop that I use for my son. Usually it runs edutainment on webs, although recently I've installed a PC title.

The game is called Xango, and is a mixup of interactive tale and learning activity. It seems like a Macromedia Director thing (lots of dxr files) and runs "almost" fine on Wine (using Wine 5.0.4 pulled from Debian repositories).

It has a lot of minigames, but the bug lies on a paint by numbers minigame. The kid has to select a colour and then click on the image to paint it, and then the computer makes a "flood fill" with that colour. In windows it works fine but on Linux the colour floods all the window, even covering the minigame UI.

So...
- Maybe do I need to tell Wine to use a specific Windows library instead of emulating it?
- Do I need to install some kind of director runtime using winetricks?
- Is there a "Director emulator" that runs director titles natively instead of running them through Wine?
- Any other suggestions?latest?d=yIl2AUoC8zA latest?i=Kg9DrLJ4TqU:j36gYNZitGI:F7zBnMy latest?i=Kg9DrLJ4TqU:j36gYNZitGI:V_sGLiP latest?d=qj6IDK7rITs latest?i=Kg9DrLJ4TqU:j36gYNZitGI:gIN9vFwKg9DrLJ4TqU
