How to power down RP4/8GB board when it is shut down?

When we shutdown RP4/8GB board, the red LED power indicator on the board will be still lit until we switch off power to the board.
Now, next time, I need to switch off and then switch on power to boot the board.
Is there any way to avoid this inconvenience?
Is there any way to hard reset the board?
