udhcpc returns -1 when run with system command
by Johncyib from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5DFH3)
Hi,
I have a linux embedded system. My device is connected to a Cisco Catalyst 3750 switch using a ethernet cable in the customer place. The device uses udhcpc to request IP for my device. It returns with error "No DNS servers specified, refusing operation". But the IP is acquired for the system. I checked my /etc/resolv.conf and it has the google DNS server information added.
Since in my setup everything is working fine and it occurs only with customer place couldn't try much things out and debug further.
Any pointers on why it throws error would be helpful.
Regards,
Johncy.
