How to keep drive partition table ?
by jan128 from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5DJNZ)
Before I run the ISO installation I set the drive partition table to "gpt".
After successful install I noticed that the partition table changed to "msdos".
It does not seem to affect usability of the 2TB drive , but I have 3TB with some issues since its partition table is "msdos".
I like to use my ISO to rebuild the 3TB drive and like to have full usage of the drive , hence use "gpt" partition table.
I did not see any options to change the partition table during ISO install.
But ISO is quite old and I wonder if newer ISO would have options to change partition table.
Just asking...
