[SOLVED] Thunderbird mail receiving texts as attachments

I sometimes email my family members, that use an iphone, as I've figured out the email addresses that go straight to their text(es).
However, when they reply, the message arrives in Thunderbird mail as an email with an attachment, that must be opened to read their message to me.
Any way to tell thunderbird mail not to do this?
