Upgrading to Debian 10.7 and NVIDIA Driver 455.45 Breaks HDMI output
by MatthewDunk from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5DRB8)
I own a Lenovo IdeaPad L340 Gaming laptop and, thanks to Lenovo, the HDMI port is hardwired to the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Max-Q. So I had to follow the instructions here to get a second monitor to work via HDMI. When I followed the foregoing instructions under Debian 10.6 with version 5.8 of the Linux Kernel and Version 450 of the NVIDIA drivers it worked flawlessly.
However, I recently upgraded to Debian 10.7, Kernel version 5.10.5, and driver version 455.45.01 and now there is not output via HDMI.
Any advice and suggestions will be highly welcome.
