I am old as dirt, a former dedicated OS/2 user, consequently not the biggest fan of Windows you're likely to find.
I've installed and used SUSE shrinkwrap, as well as several other distributions that were bundled on disks that were attached to issues of Linux Format magazine, so I'm not completely Linux ignorant. I'm not completely adverse to the command line.
But if left to my own resources, I'd probably botch up just about any instructions due to my not being familiar with the 1001 things that you seasoned veterans just take for granted.
So, I guess that I am here to ask those same questions you've heard over and over again from newbies before me?
