debian MX multi-boot installation needs being moved then replaced
by BudiKusasi from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5DW1M)
MX Linux did a multi-boot installation as it's installed after Windows (GPT) was installed with ESP at sda2
But then the need is to rearrange the partition of / MX root (to be split up, it is too big 256G), let it be sda7.
So then it has finely copied (in need to move) to the 2 next part. stepping over its /home part., say, sda8, to be at, let say, sda9 and with the grub menuentry is edited to be replaced with this new MX part. sda9
But while /boot/grub/grub.cfg in sda7 is fine keeping there, how can it get moved since the inevitable partition rearrangment will wipe out all that location ?
We know it'll help just use MX installer though not sure if it can really resolve it, but the CLI is much better method in this. Please help !
