New slackpkg doesn't permit multiple kernel installations
by wirelessmc from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5DY6C)
This morning I did a complete update (slackpkg update-all) from my local repository. There were a ton of updates including the new slackpkg [slackpkg-15.0-noarch-1.txz] It seems the new slackpkg doesn't handle (allow?) having multiple kernels installed. It gives you the option of removing or ignoring [R/I] and if you try the 'I' (ignore) option it says you must either blacklist or remove them.
I tried all different variations of blacklisting the kernels but it refused to upgrade until I reverted to the old slackpkg-2.83.0
I am blacklisting the new slackpkg until this is fixed.
