Very basic DTP / screenshot & scrapbooking

I currently use Apple Pages to quickly screenshot things and organize these screenshots on a page. It has a very nice quick crop and instant alpha feature but other than this it's very very basic.

Scribus doesn't work with copy and pasting screenshots.
Librewriter is a Word Processor and overall the experience is really clunky and slow.

Any recommendations to replace Apple Pages?
