firewalld port scan on client

rhel8 client, trying to connect it to quest netvault.
They are on different subnets.
So, I have opwned a slew of ports that I have come across from reading netvault docs. There still seems to be something missing.
Is there a way to log the ports on the client that netvault is trying to communicate through? Something I can install from redhat possibly, or a simple command I haven't found yet?
Just something to see what ports are being attempted for communication?
