Setting second GPU as main card Can it be done with Grub?

Hello,

Using OpensuseLeap: 15.2

I've been struggling with something for a while now. Maybe someone can help.

I have a 1950x with an Asus Strix Gaming TR4 motherboard.

Here is my problem:

I need to be able to pass through my first pcie slot for the GPU, but can't get it to work the way I want. My biggest GPU needs to go in that slot because if it doesn't I can't physically fit everything else on the board due to how it's set up. Also I need to pass through that card.

When I have it in another slot, I can get it passed through without issue. The problem is; my motherboard does not let me choose my main gpu, so linux tries to use that card for the main system.

I would like to tell Grub to not use that card, or somehow setup linux to not worry about it and default to my other card.

I'm guessing I could use Xorg somehow, but looking at it, it's really confusing me.

Is there a way to just make Grub forget about that card? What are my options?

My other drastic option is to water cool everything so that it will all fit, but I really don't want to go down that road right now.latest?d=yIl2AUoC8zA latest?i=-LqJFnmQkf8:RFFIT-4LQNA:F7zBnMy latest?i=-LqJFnmQkf8:RFFIT-4LQNA:V_sGLiP latest?d=qj6IDK7rITs latest?i=-LqJFnmQkf8:RFFIT-4LQNA:gIN9vFw-LqJFnmQkf8
