[SOLVED] fish displaying ? instead of >

fish shell displaying question mark instead of graphic



Above screenshots of fish and zsh, just to show you that in zsh there is no problem. I DO HAVE patched powerline fonts and also nerd fonts installed. And in terminal proper font is selected (actually in XFCE, but also did this in terminator, makes no difference) I also tried other patched powerline fonts, not difference.

Commenting out both en_US lines and regenerating locale has no effect.

I really don't know what else do but to give up on fish. This problem is all over the internet, and people are suggesting patched fonts, then selected proper patched font in terminal, and then some suggest it's a problem with locale. I tried everything, nothing works for me.

I'm not a big terminal user, I'll be happy with just bash, this is more of a bugs me issue - I need to figure this out.

For now, I'm switching for zsh, and fish is there, if this is going to be figured out I'll be switching to fish. Please help!
