Deals with foreign companies were the fastest way to get COVID-19 vaccines to Canadians, MPs told

OTTAWA-Inking contracts with foreign suppliers was the fastest way for Canada to get COVID-19 shots, and the government's failed partnership with a Chinese company did not hamper the search for promising vaccines from other manufacturers, according to the co-chairs of an expert group advising Ottawa on vaccines.
