Request: default nail.rc configuration change
by ardya from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5EDW6)
The mail(x) command by default should return to prompt if there's no mail in the mailbox.
This is the behaviour on virtually every unix/linux OS, including Slackware up to,
but not including -current.
At present there's a configuration option set in /etc/nail.rc that prevents this
behaviour and requires the user to manually exit. The option is:
Code:set emptystartMy request is to have the option commented out by default in order to return to the
expected behaviour.
If this is the wrong place to make this request, please provide guidance as to where to direct it.
Thanks
