Lowe’s and Rona stores hiring hundreds of staff in Hamilton

Lowe's is hiring 2,700 part-time and full-time staff in the province and 356 of those positions are in the Hamilton area.

Lowe's Canada said in a release Monday their stores, including Lowe's and Rona have 356 positions to fill at 11 Hamilton area stores as part of their spring hiring campaign.

Local stores that are hiring include: Lowe's Hamilton, Lowe's Ancaster, Lowe's Brantford, Lowe's Burlington North, Rona Burlington, Rona Hamilton (Parkdale and Rymal), Lowe's Milton, Rona Oakville (Speer and Windsor) and Home & Garden Rona Waterdown.

This announcement comes after Lowe's closed more than 34 under performing Canadian stores in November 2019.
