Need help mapping my keyboard for a pipe symbol

Cannot find the pipe symbol on my keyboard that I am using on my Raspberry Pi. Been searching the internet and nothing is working so far... Thanks
I am using an older HP keyboard with my basic raspberry Pi. The Upper case \ shows as the pipe but it appears a tilde in the Linux command line.
