Wayland/Sway in Current
by tramtrist from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5ERZR)
I just want to say.. I've been running wayland/sway in Current with absolutely no special configs except the way I launch sway:
Code:XDG_SESSION_TYPE=wayland exec dbus-run-session swayIt runs great from latest git pull of wlroots and swaywm.
If you're so inclined I highly recommend it. I've had to spend some time moving to some new programs that work with wayland but it has been a pretty seamless experience.
If Pat were going to pull in a tiled window manager like i3 I hope he just skips it and moves to sway !! :)
*HINT HINT*
