Surprised that newer monitor wasn't better
by Michael Piziak from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5ETCD)
I ordered an HP monitor that was 1080p resolution, and even had HD IPS technology, and although it was very good, I still didn't find it's image as pleasing as my old HP 2009m monitor that is 1600x900.

BTW, what's up with the HDPC technology built into my monitor. I must admit, and tattle on myself, I've never had that HDPC technology stop me from watching a torrent movie. I connect it via VGA.
Which brings me to another question, would I benefit from getting a dvi-d cable ?
A penny for your thoughts, on anything I've mentioned here...
