HDCP compliant and noncompliant cables

My old HP monitor has HDCP built in, and connected via VGA, I've been using it for years with no problems. Haven't played any DVD's on it, but have watched Amazon Prime Video on it.

Yesterday, I ordered a DisplayPort to DVI-d cable, to see if it would make the monitor look even better to the eye.

My concern is, one of the questions asked and answered about the cable is "it will fail the HDCP test as it has a DVI on the other end..."

Just curious as to how this cable might affect my viewing experiences. DVD's, Amazon Prime, Netflix, etc....

Cable purchased is at: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...0?ie=UTF8&th=1

Addendum: I see this cable support hdcp video (but not audio). Perhaps audio could come through external speakers? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00H2WBV2A...v_ov_lig_dp_itlatest?d=yIl2AUoC8zA latest?i=OcmEfR7R8Q0:S8FwNIu_tVw:F7zBnMy latest?i=OcmEfR7R8Q0:S8FwNIu_tVw:V_sGLiP latest?d=qj6IDK7rITs latest?i=OcmEfR7R8Q0:S8FwNIu_tVw:gIN9vFwOcmEfR7R8Q0
