Proper software for dealing with archives on a web page

Hello,
lets consider webside, with a lot of content.
https://www.programmer-books.com/wp-.../uploads/2019/
What proper software, to deal with files which are accessible there?
I would imagine that this software would download catalog of the items which are on the webside,
and i could sort this catalog according to my wishes, and then open/download files, or create downloading queue.
Or in case that would be catalog of picutres, i could preview pictures as well.
