Linux Mint 20.1: Slow Boot Time

Running Linux Mint 20.1 (Cinnamon) on 9-year-old Samsung laptop. All updates applied. Heretofore, boot time was not an issue. Why now?

Off to login screen: 1 minute, 31 seconds
Login screen to desktop: 39 seconds
