Biden dodges question about voting rights legislation and the filibuster

As Republicans in Georgia and Iowa advanced measures today to make it harder to vote, a White House reporter asked Joe Biden if Congress can pass voting rights legislation with the Senate filibuster in place.

.@GeoffRBennett asked Biden if he thinks he can pass voting rights in its current form w/ Senate filibuster. Biden said, I can talk to you about that later."

Note: @WhipClyburn said senators need to find a way around the filibuster when it comes to voting and civil rights.

I asked President Biden on his way out of the event if he thinks Democrats can pass voting rights with the Senate filibuster in its current form. He said: I can talk to you about that later." (I will look forward to such an opportunity.)
