Can I restore system using a ext 4 timeshift backup to a new btrfs formatted partition table ?
I have recently reformatted my SSD drive with a new BTRFS file system.
I had previously saved backups of the Mint 20.1 system to an external seagate 2TB usb drive using rsync , at that time the ssd drive was ext4.
I have my Home folder manually copied to the 2TB usb drive, I assume there is no problem just copying this to the ssd primary drive.
I have a Mint 20.1 distro on a USB pendrive if needed.
I don't think I would have switched from windows without all the help from fellow linux users,
thanks in advance !
