Each year, the U.S. sets aside a short, 28-day window in which to celebrate Blackness. Carving out a time when the whole country pauses to honor the achievements of Black folks is nice (though the fact that it happens during the shortest month of the year gives me pause), but Blackness does not only exist in February....
